The free listener console and 60 programs stay free forever. API fees fund the site for developers who need programmable access.

How payment works
- Monthly subscription via Stripe Checkout (card). BBM never stores card numbers.
- Receipts come from Stripe to your email.
- Cancel anytime in the Stripe customer portal; access lasts through the paid period.
- Ko-fi donations are separate and do not issue API keys.
Quotas & fairness
- Authenticated API calls increment
requests_this_period. - Over Free/paid monthly limit → HTTP 429 with upgrade guidance.
- Public unauthenticated preset browse does not consume your quota.
- Overage (~$1 / 1k extra requests) may be offered later; until then limits are hard stops.
- Annual plans (10× monthly) may be offered later.
