Carrier vs beat: the operator map
How carrier pitch and beat frequency interact on a true-stereo console.
What is measured
Beat frequency fb = |fL − fR|. Carriers often sit 100–1000 Hz for clear phase-locking. Choosing A=432 for music is unrelated to choosing a 6 Hz theta beat. Operators should track both dimensions.
Brainwave design targets (delta→gamma) live in the beat dimension. Solfeggio and concert pitch live in the musical fundamental dimension.
What is claimed
Some systems stack meanings: “theta beat on 528 carrier for miracle dreamwork.” That’s compositional storytelling — label it as artful design.
