Dual lens. Science pane = measurable / historical fact pattern. Mystic pane = living myth, ritual, and cultural meaning. BBM is not a medical device.

◈ Science

Hz
Cycles per second.
Pitch / note
Perceived highness of a tone; musical systems map Hz to names.
Cent
1/100 of a semitone in 12-TET (log frequency unit).
Carrier
Base tone(s) used to carry a binaural difference.
Beat frequency
|fL − fR| perceived pulsation rate (the Console “brainwave” design number).
FFR / ASSR
Neural responses that can follow rhythmic auditory structure.
Cymatics
Visual standing-wave patterns in media (sand, water, plates).
Schumann resonances
EM cavity modes of Earth–ionosphere (~7.83 Hz fundamental).
Solfeggio (modern)
Popular set of pure-tone Hz with spiritual labels (396, 528, etc.).
Equal temperament
12 equal log steps per octave (modern keyboard standard).
Just intonation
Intervals from simple integer ratios (sweeter pure intervals in one key).
Isochronic
Pulsed amplitude rhythm in one audio stream (works on speakers).
Infrasound / ultrasound
Below / above the typical human hearing band (~20 Hz–20 kHz).

✦ Mystic / Mythos

When a mystic term appears (root chakra, angel number, miracle tone), map it back to a physical layer in this glossary so both languages stay honest.

Operator tip. Headphones for binaural difference tones. Musical pitch (432 / solfeggio fundamentals) is a different control axis from beat frequency (delta→gamma). Explore freely; extraordinary healing claims need extraordinary evidence.
