Beta waves explained

Beta is typically associated with active, outward attention — roughly 13–30 Hz depending on the chart. Lower beta is often linked with engaged thinking; higher beta can feel “wired” for some people.

Study and work sessions sometimes use beat frequencies in the low-to-mid beta range as a design target for alert focus. This is not medical treatment and not a substitute for sleep, breaks, or professional care.

Tips: moderate volume, clear task list, stereo headphones. If you feel overstimulated, step down toward alpha-oriented calm sessions.
