CENTER LANE
The next code name after Grill Flame. Same family of work: Army INSCOM sponsorship and method development before the effort migrated more fully under DIA as SUN STREAK / STAR GATE.
Code names change when offices, compartments, and cover stories change. CENTER LANE is the INSCOM continuation after Grill Flame — still Army, still Fort Meade, still remote viewing, still argued over internally — before the effort migrated more fully under DIA as Sun Streak / Star Gate. It is not a new physics. It is a chapter title in one book, not a sequel with a different monster.
What stayed the same
Training pipelines (including SRI-derived coordinate stages), monitors, tasking handles, session paperwork, operational problems mixed with practice sites. If you learned Grill Flame’s furniture, you can read a Center Lane file without learning a new method. Look at the date and the stamp; look at whether you are holding training or ops.
What the restamp was for
Compartments, sponsors, and cover change even when the sit does not. Center Lane is how the Army kept the shop alive under a new name while DIA’s role grew. Sun Streak is the later DIA-facing label with purpose language aimed at intelligence support. STAR GATE is the umbrella you will see on the CIA collection page.
Adjacency is not identity
If you are tracing Monroe in these years, you will also find trip reports and course notes — civilian audio training brushing the same offices. That adjacency is historical. It does not make Center Lane a Hemi-Sync unit, and it does not put binaural beats in the session protocol as doctrine.
