Falling Asleep with Headphones — Safety

Falling asleep in cups is a comfort question and a hardware question. It is not a flex.

In-ear buds can lodge, irritate, or sit at a volume you would not choose awake. Over-ear, low level, and a timer are the conservative setup.

Some people simply take the headphones off when the eyelids win. That is allowed. The beat does not need to run until morning to “count.”

If you use a program, set a length. If you ENGAGE open-ended, Halt when you would have turned off a lamp. Comfort beats dogma.

Falling Asleep with Headphones — Safety is a door, not a clinic. Over-ear preference. Sit with a true-stereo pair if the hour still wants one. Skip it if silence is the better instrument tonight.
