Night Volume Guidelines

Night volume is lower than you think. Louder is not more sleep.

If the tone is the loudest object in the room, it will argue with rest. Aim for a level you could almost ignore — present, not performing.

Any sound at high SPL can cost hearing. That is not a binaural special. It is acoustics. Phone limiters exist for a reason.

Set volume before you lie down. Do not chase the pulse by turning up. If you cannot hear it at a kind level, check stereo, then accept a faint field.

Night Volume Guidelines is a door, not a clinic. Low comfortable levels. Sit with a true-stereo pair if the hour still wants one. Skip it if silence is the better instrument tonight.
