Cousto-style planetary frequencies: orbital periods octave-shifted into hearing range — method, tables, and limits.
What is measured
Hans Cousto’s cosmic octave method takes astronomical periods (orbits, rotations) and multiplies/divides by powers of 2 until the result falls in the audible band. That is a logarithmic mapping choice, not a spacecraft broadcasting concert pitches.
Resulting tones (e.g. Earth year ≈ 136.1 Hz in some tables) are musically usable and poetically coherent. They are not unique physical emissions of planets as audible sound in vacuum.
What is claimed
Astrology-meets-tuning systems assign planetary temperaments: Earth year / Om, Moon, Sun, Venus love tones, Saturn structure, etc. Excellent for ritual composition and contemplative playlists.
