Sample Rate and Browser Audio Basics

This console runs in the browser. Sample rate and output routing are real constraints, not mystique.
Web Audio typically locks to the device rate (often 44.1 or 48 kHz). That is plenty for the carriers we use. It is not a 192 kHz mastering suite, and it does not need to be.
What does matter: exclusive-mode apps stealing the device, OS spatial audio folding the image, and browser autoplay rules that refuse to start oscillators until you click.
Click ENGAGE yourself. Keep other apps from grabbing the output. If the image feels “wide in a fake way,” disable spatial processing on the interface. Then listen to the pair.
Sample Rate and Browser Audio Basics is a door, not a clinic. Web Audio context notes. Sit with a true-stereo pair if the hour still wants one. Skip it if silence is the better instrument tonight.
