Binaural listening in the delta range

Sleep-marketed audio often uses delta-range beat intentions (e.g., 1–3 Hz difference) in later program phases. That is a design analogy to deep-sleep EEG — not proof that playback forces N3 sleep.

Outcome research on binaural beats for sleep is smaller and more mixed than the anxiety/cognition meta-analytic literature. Treat sleep programs as wind-down rituals that may help some people relax, not as treatment for clinical insomnia.

Safety: Low volume if you might fall asleep with headphones. Prefer safe over-ear setups. Never use deep-rest sessions while driving. Chronic insomnia needs clinical care.
